~Lunch with Angela Ng~

This might be the last time I'll be seeing Angela Ng in person. That is why no matter how tired and difficult was it to get out from my bed on a Saturday morning, I have to meet her. Do i sound like she is my lesbian partner? Laugh!! I really do heart her.. LOVE!!

I am usually late. Lee San was waiting for me patiently at the bridge leading to MidValley Megamall. I'm so so sorry again. Because of me, she has to donate to some charity people who thinks that she is a Form 3 high school student. LOL... err, is that an insult or a compliment???

We walked so fast towards Cititel lobby, because that is where we should meet up with Angela. However, we couldn't find it...How can it be? We went there before. We approached the information counter and found it immediately. We raced to the lobby and was recalling Angela's looks. We browsed through every female being in the lobby and found no Angela's sakai look. Okay, she might have gone back to her room because we are like half and hour or so late. We can't contact each other because my phone and Lee San's phone ran out of credit. We were half waiting for Angela to miraculously call.

Somehow, it felt like we are living in the stone age...

Somehow, this waiting thing is not working...

err.... not working... let's look for a public phone instead. okay, we need coins, coins and coins!!

We called her handphone three times and she didn't answer. We called Sumitha three times hoping that she is with Angela already. Nope. No answer. Where is everyone? Why aren't they reacting to their ringing phones?? What's wrong? Is there something wrong with this phone??

(banging the receiver)

Finally, we got someone who actually answer his phone. Alvin. However, he is not with Angela. So, we asked him to call Angela for us because we are running out of coins AND we can't be standing here for ages hoping that she will pick up her phone one fine day??!!

So, we sat on the couch at the lobby. Waiting and waiting. Wondering why do people stay in this hotel? Wondering how much is one night here? Is there a swimming pool here? Wow, that lady wears only branded clothes. Where are these people from? Johor? Melaka? Singapore? Okay, cut that crap... The most importantly, we were wondering whether Angela got the message that we are waiting in the lobby. We can't contact her so it is a one way communication thing. At last, Lee San can't wait no longer, she called Angela again using that public phone.

Angela said she is coming.

Lee San nearly wanted to make me her barbie doll because she took out her newly bought eye-shadow with multi-colours. She always test her make-up set on me. No..No... not here, Lee San!! Haha... Then we saw Angela with her mum. Yes!!! The wait is over!! I think i said that too early...

Angela : We gotta check out first.

Lee San & I : Oh.. okay... Take your time...

Our stomaches are making some weird sounds. It is like our stomaches are communicating with one another. Some language that we can't be able to understand.

Okay, okay.. yes, we are hungry... Really hungry.

Dragon-i is juz a few steps away.

Lee San and i looked at each other.

Both of us nodded at the same time.

We stood up, and walked towards dragon-i.

Table for two, please....

Lee San & I : Can we have that table right there? ( that table enables Angela to see us from the lobby when she comes down...)

We ordered ' siu long pau' and 'sui kao' only because it is not our lunch actually. We were really really feeling so hungry. We can't wait for Angela any longer!! We have to eat SOMETHING!! It was super-licious!!!!! Yummy...Nice!!!!!

When we saw Angela coming out from the elevator and was searching for us, we waved from the inside of the restaurant like as if we were waving to everyone out there. Hey!! Hey!!

Angela and her mum was giggling non stop because Lee San and I looked so hungry like we haven't eaten for like ages. They looked at us from the outside waiting for us. We can't even wait for Angela to come down and straight to dragon-i. The temptation is irresistable. I was so hungry till i eat like i'm at home. The soup from inside the food also come shooting out like a fountain...

Angela said that she wanna treat us lunch at Kimgary.

Again, we can't be able to find our destination. This time it is Kimgary!! Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!

We found out that the restaurant is at GE somewhere. We can only find G and not GE. Where oh where is GE?? We walked from South Court to North court, we can't find it. Angela can't even remember the place, when she just had her meal there a day ago. Goodness!!

We calmed down and Angela finally recalled it is somewhere outside. So, we tried every exit and luckily on our second try we found it!! The waiting line was quite long. The weather is also so hot!!

While we were having out lunch, we chatted a lot. Memories and recent stuff. People that have changed a lot. Our friends that we once love hanging out with are now strangers to us. We can't blend in easily like we used to.

Why do people changed so fast? So drastically? Why do people let others influenced them so easily?

Sigh...

It ended with a hug and a last goodbye...
